The Autumn Woods neighborhood is a quiet neighborhood of smaller homes with decent-sized yards in northwest Tallahassee, Florida. Located off Capital Circle Northwest, the neighborhood is a quick commute to the universities. This made it perfect for my youngest first time home buyer. We are selling that home this year and the prices are rising fast in this neighborhood of affordable homes.
Autumn Woods in Tallahassee, Florida
The Autumn Woods neighborhood is off Capitol Circle northwest between I-10 and North Monroe Roads. Most of these homes were constructed in the 1970s, and they average slightly more than 1000 sf. In the past thirty-six months, the median home values here have increased 44%.
In 2022, the median home age was 44 years old. There were only 13 sales in 2022 with an average of 25 days on market. This is way down from the 24 sales for the real estate market in 2021, which averaged 46 days on the market. Of those thirteen sales in 2022, one of those homes had a fireplace, and none had a pool. The median sales price in 2022, was $190,000 and ranged from a low of $125,000 to $257,000. That is considerably higher than the median sales price of $156k in 2021.
For home sales in 2022, yard sizes average slightly less than a third of an acre.

Shopping Near Autumn Woods in Northwest Leon County
The area shopping includes a Publix and a plaza full of shops nearby off North Monroe. There is also a quickie mart and gas station at the entrance to the neighborhood.
There is no HOA for this neighborhood.
