The Forest Heights neighborhood is located one street south of Holly Hills. It is a long hike or short bike ride to FSU. There are many rentals with older students who have chosen to live off-campus. There does seem to be significant turnover in the neighborhood. In 2021, they averaged 39 days on the market. It’s a conveniently located neighborhood, and homes are priced for first-time homebuyers.
Many of the homes were built in the 1950s/1960s and were remodeled in the 1980s/90s for multi-family or student housing. Homes that are remodeled and move-in ready are redesigned back to single-family homes.
